Notes to Self coming through with another banger...if the forthcoming Used to be Dark [Recoil] album keeps the bar as high as the tracks they've been putting out lately, then there is definitely ample reason to get hyped about the project. Take in the hip-hoppery:

New Track: Notes to Self feat. Fashawn - Mr. Polite
Mr. Polite, the new track by Notes to Self,
features an incredibly catchy hook and dope verse by west-coast rapper Fashawn,
infectious co-production by Bronze One (of NTS) for Course of Study &
Bookworm (of Beatface) for Jigsaaw (AKA BOOK & BRONZE for Heart on Sleeve). Great
song all around. If this single is any indication of the type of music that
will be forthcoming from Notes, then headz better get ready! Link below for

Mr. Polite with Fashawn by NotestoSelf
"Notes to Self connects with Fashawn for their new song together, "Mr. Polite". Notes recorded with Fash in Toronto earlier this year, courtesy of their mutual Homie, Evidence. The song that emerged shows a different side of Notes to Self, a departure for both themselves & Fashawn - Girl at home vs. Girls on the road. A classic topic."
